Privacy review / local-first tools

Your work stays in your hands.

This policy explains the information paths that apply when you use products from Super Ants Limited, contact support, or interact with an app store or an optional advertisement.

Effective and last updated June 19, 2026 · Intended for ages 17+

Policy boundary

Super Ants Limited (“Super Ants,” “we,” “us”) is responsible for the processing described here. This policy applies to mobile applications, websites, and related services that link to it. An app store, advertisement provider, backup destination, or file-sharing destination may process information under its own policy.

REVIEW 01

Documents and results on your device

When you choose a scanning or text-recognition function, the product may work with camera captures, selected images, document pages, recognized text, PDF files, filenames, and edits needed to create the requested result. When you use a cleanup function, it may inspect device storage information and user-selected files to identify possible cleanup items. Files that can be processed locally remain on the device unless you choose to export or share them.

REVIEW 02

Permissions you control

Relevant functions may request camera, photo-library, file, or storage access. A permission is used only when you invoke the related function and subject to the scope allowed by the operating system. You can deny or later revoke access in device settings, although the corresponding scan, import, save, or cleanup action may then be unavailable.

REVIEW 03

Connection and support information

When a product contacts an online service, app store, or support channel, limited technical information may be processed, such as IP address, app and operating-system version, device type, language, approximate event time, crash details, and security signals. If you contact us, we process your email address, message, attachments, and troubleshooting details you choose to send.

REVIEW 04

How information is used

  • perform the scan, OCR, file creation, cleanup review, export, or support action you request;
  • maintain compatibility, diagnose errors, secure services, and prevent misuse;
  • administer optional advertising or store transactions where offered; and
  • comply with law and establish, exercise, or defend legal rights.

Depending on the context, the legal basis may be performance of a requested service, consent, legitimate interests, or a legal obligation.

REVIEW 05

Optional advertising and store activity

Some product versions may show advertising. The relevant ad provider may process IP address, general device and app information, consent choices, and ad interactions under its own notice; we do not state that every product contains ads or uses a particular SDK. App stores independently handle downloads, purchases, subscriptions, trials, refunds, and store-account records.

REVIEW 06

Recipients and destinations you choose

Information may be disclosed to vendors that support company communications or security, professional advisers, authorities where legally required, and a successor in a corporate transaction. When you print, save, export, back up, or share a result, the destination you select receives it. Review the destination and document before confirming the transfer.

REVIEW 07

Retention follows the holder

Local scans, recognized text, PDFs, cleanup candidates, and saved results remain until you delete them, clear product storage, or erase the device. Support records are retained only as reasonably needed to resolve the request, protect the service, meet legal duties, or handle disputes. Stores, advertising providers, print services, cloud drives, and other chosen destinations apply their own schedules.

REVIEW 08

Your choices and rights

You can manage permissions, delete local files, review cleanup selections, and control exports through the product and device. You may contact us about company-held support information. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, or withdrawal of consent. We may verify a request before acting.

REVIEW 09

Security and safe handling

We use safeguards appropriate to the information we control, but no device or transmission is completely secure. Protect device access, inspect recognized text, keep sensitive documents out of unnecessary support messages, and verify that important material is backed up before clearing storage. Cleanup suggestions are not a substitute for your review.

REVIEW 10

International processing and age

Company support vendors, app stores, advisers, or optional advertising providers may process information outside your country or region using safeguards required by applicable law. Products are intended for users aged 17 or older. If local law requires a higher age or additional consent, that requirement controls.

REVIEW 11

Updates and contact

We may update this policy as products, providers, or law changes. We will revise the date above and provide additional notice where required. For privacy questions or requests, email [email protected] or use the practical routes in our Data Deletion Guide.
